In which we quickly adapt to our rooms with a view.
Our home away from home is a townhouse with a beautiful view of Barcelona. The biggest attractions of the place are its proximity to the kids' school, large patio overlooking the city, and room for visitors. Located in the neighborhood of Guinardó, in the hills above the center of the city but just a short metro ride away from it, it is next to the large Park del Guinardó. Spain is at the extreme western end of the central Europe time zone, so the sun rises quite late. This means we can watch the sun rise over the city every morning over coffee. Lusi has quickly adapted to spending most of the day on the terrace.
